Pobb is a continually developing Web App. As such we felt it was important to give our users a bit of information as to what they can expect to see heading their way over the coming months.

Beta Feedback: After our initial launch in November we have had a great deal of feedback from many users. As such there are many things currently being reviewed for changes. We have ironed out a few small bugs as well. Changes we are currently looking into include simplifying the manage favourites process, allowing users to import favourites/bookmarks from their browsers, folders on users Pobb pages with links/subfolders beneath them and Group eHomes so that users can share a homepage. More news on each of these shall be available In Development as they filter through production. Thanks again to all those who have submitted their ideas so far.

In Development

• My Radio: Users will be able to browse for their favorite or new radio stations and add them to a favourite list for quick access. Stations will be searchable via country or type (e.g. Jazz, Rock or Classical).
  
  
• Link Matrix: This will allow users to save whole links to a searchable/alphabetically listed database and will be accessable via 'My Favorites Management'. Other users can then access the database and include links for their 'My Favorites' section at the click of a button. Alternatively website owners can list their websites in the database in order to gain potential coverage for their website. The ability to share is paramount to Pobb's development in all sections
  
  
• My Search Engines: Currently Pobb allows you to use a set list of search engines. An upcoming update will allow you to chose from a selection of engines you would like to make up that list. You can define which engine you would like to be your primary one available after login. We will also give instructions as to how to make your own search engines for your own website. For example a web hosting forum could make a search engine for its users to add to their Pobb homepage so their users can search the forum directly from their homepage. All of these search engines will be stored on our database and made available to the entire comunity as well as avialable as an 'Add Search To My Pobb' button for your website.
  
  
• My Skins: You will be able to modify the look of your homepage by selecting different skins for a database of premade versions. Instructions to allow users to construct their own and upload them will also be available. For example Apple Mac could produce an Ipod Pobb homepage should they so wish that they can then advertise to users of their website using an 'Add Skin To My Pobb' button. The bonus of skins allows users to include other content to the page that are not available on other skins. Continuing the Ipod idea, Apple Mac could include a quiz at the bottom of their skin to allow users the opportunity to win an Ipod or have links to places where users can buy an Ipod as an example. The opportunity for Skin creators to be as creative as possible will be welcomed by Pobb and any assistance possible offered to those developers.
  
  
• My Channels: You will be able to choose which channels to have on the news page. Options for users to submit a complete channel will be provided also. A database will be provided for users to upload to/select channels from. Channels will be available from the database by topic as well as country.
  
  
• Pobb Shops: This will allow users to save details of their shops for others to search through. Shops such as eBay shops, eCommerce or other will be included into this. The hope is to generate a large database of shops for users to examine globally

• My Calendar: We are looking to create a calendar that can allow users to include reminders and important dates. Reminders would be displayed at the top of 'My Favorites' and emailed to users at a time and date specified by the user
  
  
• My Money: A section allowing the user to keep upto date with money matters as well as offer finance tools for everyday tasks such as receipt handling and tax calculation
  
  
• My Games: This would offer a range of entertainment for users as well as a source for other online games. If you have a game you would like to get coverage for then please contact us

Continual Development

• Translations: We hope to get more versions of Pobb for various languages over the coming months. Key languages include German, French, Spanish, Italian. We are currently looking for anyone who would like to translate Pobb into their language
  
  
• My Radio: Continually adding more Radio Stations for more countries. If you know of a radio station with a Digital Broadcast let us know about it via the form at the bottom of this page.
  
  
• My Shopping: Continually adding more shops for the main catagories and more countries
  
  
• My News: Continually adding more channels for more countries. If you know of a news source using RSS that is widely available in your country let us know via the form at the bottom of this page.
